Directorate of Plans, Training, Mobilization & Security (DPTMS)
The DPTMS directs, supervises, and controls the resources assigned to the directorate; reviews and analyzes operations and reports on finding with recommendations for improvement, formulates, documents, and implements policies and procedures; and advises the GC on matters which impact on assigned responsibilities.
The DPTMS contains four divisions: Plans & Operations Division, Training Division, Security and Intelligence Division and Airfield Division.
Plans & Operations
Operates Installation Operations Center (IOC). Develops and executes operational plans for contingencies or emergencies affecting FHL, Antiterrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP), Installation Disaster Plans. Coordinates the installation’s emergency preparedness information campaign. Participates in emergency tests, training and exercises with both on-post and off-post regional emergency response and management agencies. Coordinate non-routine assistance to civilian law enforcement officials. Coordinate Continuity of Operations (COOP) for the Installation. Disseminate critical information to service members, employees and residents on FHL. Provide daily status reports to higher headquarters as required. Manage force integration program. Develops, publishes and exercises plans for mobilization (Pre/Trans/Post).
Security and Intel
Security and Intel manages installation programs for personnel and information security. The security branch provides personnel and information security services. These services include interfaces with Central Clearance Facility and Office of Personnel Management. Manages the Installation’s Joint Personnel Adjudication System Accounts. Manages the Installation Information Security Program and conduct compliance inspections as required by regulatory guidance. Manages the Installation’s Security Education and Awareness training programs. Conducts Industrial Security inspections. Provide Operations Security, Information Security and Personnel Security training.
Range Operations is responsible for providing support to all active and reserve components, ROTC, National Guard, civilian law enforcement and foreign allied units. Training on the installation is supported by scheduling, controlling use and providing safety guidance to facility users, along with supplies and materials, such as small arms targets. Range Control maintains, modernizes, and upgrades ranges and facilities to meet user needs.
Integrated Training Area Management Integrated Training Area Management (ITAM) is a comprehensive training area management program that is an Army initiative developed to address land management problems and to support military training while protecting our natural resources.
